Một số lưu ý về đề thi bạn cần nắm rõ là:
1.1. Đề thi IELTS được làm mới và cập nhật hàng năm
Bài thi IELTS được thiết kế và cập nhật hàng năm. Cụ thể, đề thi liên tục được thay đổi sau một khoảng thời gian nhất định nhằm tránh việc thí sinh học thuộc câu hỏi và câu trả lời.
1/ Cụm từ “SECTIONS” của sẽ chuyển thành “PARTS”.
2/ Phần Example trong Part 1 bị xóa đi.
3/ Số trang tham chiếu sẽ bị xóa đi.
Bạn có thể xem chi tiết thay đổi trong bài thi IELTS Listening tại đây.
Do đó, khi tìm bộ đề ôn luyện từ năm 2019 trở về trước, các bạn cần lưu ý điểm này. Ngoài ra, bạn cũng không nên tập trung nhiều vào những bộ đề đã thi cách đây 10 năm. Do những bộ đề này đã cũ, không còn phù hợp với xu hướng ra đề hiện tại.
1.2. Đề thi IELTS có lặp lại hay không?
Riêng đối với phần thi Speaking thì việc lặp lại các chủ đề diễn ra thường xuyên hơn. Tuy nhiên, gần như không có giới hạn nào cho các chủ đề có thể xuất hiện. Cộng với việc mỗi thí sinh có thể gặp từ 3 – 5 chủ đề cho bài thi Nói, việc lặp lại đề này không có ảnh hưởng gì đến độ khách quan của bài thi.
1.3. Có thể tìm đề thi thật IELTS có đáp án ở đâu?
Đơn vị tổ chức kỳ thi IELTS không công bố chính thức các đề thi thật. Bạn chỉ có thể tìm thấy các đề thi với format tương đương từ các tài liệu, sách do Đơn vị điều hành kỳ thi là Cambridge, hoặc 1 số đơn vị khác, xuất bản và phát hành.
Các “đề thi thật” bạn có thể tìm thấy trên mạng có thể là từ reports hoặc thông tin từ những thí sinh tham gia dự thi chia sẻ lại. (TIW cũng đã tổng hợp tại các bộ đề thi thật Wrtiting và bộ đề Speaking năm 2023 cho các bạn tham khảo)
1.4. Xu hướng ra đề thi IELTS năm 2023: Đa dạng chủ đề và cũng “lắt léo” hơn?
Theo chia sẻ của nhiều thí sinh tham gia dự thi, đề thi IELTS có phần lắt léo hơn trước. Đây có phải là sự thật?
Các thông tin và câu hỏi trong Reading và Listening “gây nhiễu” cho thí sinh.Đề bài Writing và Speaking đề cập đến nhiều vấn đề mới mẻ của xã hội như mental health (sức khỏe tinh thần), law (luật pháp), religion (tôn giáo), globalisation (toàn cầu hóa),…Nghe được thông tin này, hẳn nhiều bạn sẽ có phần “ghen tị” và nghĩ rằng nếu mình thi IELTS sớm hơn thì đã dễ dàng đạt band điểm 6.5, 7.0,… hơn rồi.
Thực tế không phải như vậy!
Kỳ thi IELTS đã xuất hiện từ lâu, nên việc làm mới đề thi là hoàn toàn cần thiết để tránh việc thí sinh dùng “mẹo” từ những người đi trước để trả lời. Tương tự, các vấn đề mới xuất hiện cũng phần nào giúp phản ánh được năng lực thật của thí sinh.
Hãy nhớ rằng, IELTS về bản chất cũng chỉ là một kỳ thi về ngôn ngữ và mục đích sau cùng cũng là khả năng sử dụng tiếng Anh. Vì vậy, thay vì lo lắng IELTS sẽ “gây khó dễ” cho mình như nào, các bạn hãy ôn luyện thật chăm chỉ và tập trung nâng cao năng lực tiếng Anh của bản thân. Như vậy, sẽ không có đề nào có thể làm bạn nhụt chí!
2. Đề thi IELTS 4 kỹ năng sát nhất với đề thi thật (có đáp án)
2.1. Đề thi mẫu IELTS
Đề thi mẫu (IELTS Sample Test questions) là nguồn tài liệu chính thống của Cambridge để thí sinh làm quen với đề thi IELTS. Hiện đã có cả phiên bản giấy và phiên bản trên máy tính cho thí sinh làm thử
2.2. Bộ đề IELTS Cambridge
Đây là các bộ đề được tổng hợp thành các cuốn sách, xuất bản bởi Cambridge. Các đề thi được xây dựng sát với format đề thi thật, kèm đáp án chi tiết và transcript (bản ghi của phần nghe) cho người học tham khảo. Cụ thể:
2.3. Các bộ đề thi IELTS khác
Bộ Recent Actual Tests là tổng hợp của nhiều đề thi thật IELTS tại Trung Quốc. Tuy nhiên, có khá nhiều tranh cãi về việc đáp án của bộ sách này không chính xác. Bạn hãy cân nhắc trước khi sử dụng bộ sách này. Nếu sử dụng, hãy coi nó như 1 tài liệu bổ trợ.3. Cách luyện tập và sử dụng đề thi IELTS hiệu quả
3.1.Có nên chỉ luyện giải đề IELTS?
Nhiều người có thắc mắc liệu chỉ tập trung luyện và giải đề có được không?
Thật ra câu trả lời rất đơn giản. Hãy nhớ lại quãng thời gian đi học. Lấy ví dụ như môn Toán, bạn có chỉ luyện đề toán cho các kỳ kiểm tra, kỳ thi không? Đương nhiên là không rồi! Giải đề chỉ là bước sau, khi bạn đã được học về các phép tính, cách làm các dạng toán,…
IELTS cũng vậy. Để luyện đề thi IELTS thật sự hiệu quả, bạn cần có một nền tảng kiến thức cũng như nắm được phương pháp làm bài 4 kỹ năng đã nhé!
Để việc luyện thi đạt hiệu quả tốt nhất, trước hết, bạn phải biết trình độ của bản thân mình đang ở đâu. Bạn có thể tham gia làm bài kiểm tra trình độ tiếng Anh miễn phí tại The IELTS Workshop. Sau đó, bạn có thể tham khảo các phương pháp phù hợp với trình độ của bản thân mình nhé.
3.2. Luyện đề IELTS Listening với 4 bước
Bước 1: Đọc transcripts và học hết từ mới (10 phút/ section – khoảng 40 phút cho 1 test). Lí do là vì những từ bạn không biết thì 99% là không nghe được. Do đó, bạn cần đảm bảo làm quen được với hầu hết từ vựng trong bài.Bước 2: Nghe và nhìn theo transcript (25-28 phút)Sau khi đảm bảo nội dung của bài nghe không quá khó, bạn hãy thử nghe chay để kiểm tra về độ hiểu. Nếu từ biết hết mà nghe không hiểu, thì do phát âm của bạn có vấn đề. 3.4. Luyện đề IELTS Writing và Speaking
Tìm người hướng dẫn: Do không có đáp án rõ ràng như Đọc và Nghe nên người học khó có thể tự đánh giá, đồng thời nhìn ra lỗi sai của bản thân.
